In October 2024, we proudly embarked on our first collaboration with Muslim Charity for a four-day eye screening event in Kashmir. Over the course of the camp, we screened 1,475 patients, marking a significant milestone as we conducted cataract surgeries for the first time alongside our eye screening efforts.
We are extremely grateful to Muslim Charity for providing their facilities in Ghaziabad, which enabled us to perform 55 cataract operations and offer outpatient clinics. Screening took place in several rural villages, including Sesar, Dirkot, and Sangar Batara. Additionally, we dispensed 771 pairs of spectacles to address uncorrected refractive errors.
This successful initiative demonstrates our commitment to improving eye health in underserved communities, and we look forward to continuing this important partnership in the future.
