The Sight Relief team completed an extraordinary 10-day outreach in the remote mountainous region of Upper Chitral, reaching five isolated villages previously underserved by eye health services. Between June 27th and July 6th, over 2,300 people were screened for eye conditions. The mission culminated in 68 life-changing cataract surgeries, delivered directly in the heart of the community. This journey involved long treks, overnight camping, and deep collaboration with local health workers, testament to our commitment to delivering eye care at the doorstep of those most in need.
