We completed 5 rural eye camps, screened 1,100 women, children and elderly. There were over 600 spectacles dispensed and 26 cataract surgeries completed. We also secured the help of 2 final year Optometry students and managed to train 5 local on how to measure vision to identify those who require further screening.
